@Tony-OH, this is really excellent work this year. Thanks for all of the time and effort. This informed background, particularly on so many guys, is second to none.

Thanks. Glad you enjoy all the work that went into these. More to come on some others coming up.

Definitely enjoy it. I love this stuff and, at best, I'd have to go a bunch of places for each individual player to even begin to piece together this much useful information. It would be impossible for me to do.

Haskins hit, game power, and defense scores seem quite low for a second round draft pick.  Seems like we could have got a player with this skill set in about the 6th round and for much cheaper.  Did we miss out on a better prospect?  Like a pitcher?

What he said. And, a ceiling of 4th outfielder seems low also for a 2nd round pick. What were they thinking??

Yah for unrealistic draft pick expectations.

If a second round pick makes it to the majors as a regular part of the 25 man roster that draft pick was a success.

You'd probably like your #2 pick to have a ceiling of any everyday player (which he had, according to his 2020 profile. https://www.orioleshangout.com/2020/10/19/14-2020-prospect-hudson-haskin-cf/

Haskin has dropped 15 spots from #14 last year. Seems like a bit of a miss. Not a big deal, you can't expect to hit on every single player.

The same can be said for any round draft pick.  But shouldn’t the ceiling be higher for a 2nd rounder?

Also I'd expect to see a second rounder higher than #30 on the team's prospect list. Then again, if he was #14 last year, that seems more within an expected range. But then we come back to @Yossarian's point about the limited tools.
