Is there a corresponding move? Not sure why he made the team in the first place.

I think someone from outside the organization is coming.  They make a spot on the 40 man the other day DFA’ing Mattison.  Now they have an empty spot on the roster as well. I am thinking it could be pitcher that maybe either starts Tuesday or piggy backs with Kremer.

Kremer supposedly has an oblique strain.

Kremer is being evaluated for an oblique injury he got when he warmed up in the bullpen during todays game. 
 

I’ll admit to being lax on the roster rules right now, so I don’t know if they can move Stewart for a pitcher or not.

Yea that's the only thing that makes sense.  No reason to have him break camp with the team only to send him down now.

Then you put Kremer on the IL.

Not like a oblique strain is something you recover from in a few days like a triceps.

He's cheap.

Same reason half of them are on the team.

I assume they’re bring up a pitcher. A. Wells on normal rest to start Tuesday seems possible. Rodriguez on short rest seems unlikely….but would be amazing. Watkins would disappoint me most, so that’s probably the answer.

Just checked the roster rules for the 28 man roster: You can have whatever number of pitchers you want.

So they might bring two pitchers up. One for Kremer and one for Stewart’s spot.
