Hall very squirrelly on the mound and in the bullpen. Seems to throw high-90s easily.

He bends down to get dirt on his hand after every pitch, and sometimes multiple times. He’s done that ever since I started watching him. He’s also very cognizant of the pitch clock and moves really quickly from pitch to pitch.

Aguilar is on the team to face lefties.

And we have a better defensive OF on the bench in McKenna.

Move makes perfect sense to me.

As for not hitting for Odor... It is clear they value his defense bigtime.  When you have a lead late every move you make should improve your defense, never make it worse.  McKenna replacing Stowers improves our defense, taking Odor out does not

If you don’t think having Urias at third and Henderson at second improves the defense, I don’t know what to tell you.

Stowers hit lefties well in the minors and frankly mckenna has hit better then Aguilar this year, if you wanted to pinch hit. You don’t need to pinch hit to make the defensive substitution though.
