Yea this season definitely caught me by surprise, no doubt about that.

I didn't vote, but this team is going to win 100+ games. I would have voted for improvement over last year, but not this much improvement. It shows you that the games are played on the field, not on paper.

Some will say we won that many because Elias actually KNEW what he was doing with just the right roster mix, and others will say we should have won even more because Elias DIDN'T KNOW what he was doing and bringing up the prospects would have yielded better results, or that he didn't do enough at the deadline.

And even others will say that Elias didn't know what he was doing, and we outperformed because we were just lucky....so, we won this many IN SPITE OF Elias.

However, EVERYONE would probably have been extremely happy IF they knew on Opening Day that this team would win 95+ games, and would have taken it in a heartbeat.

SMOKE & MIRRORS - that's what they are holding on to in New York. Wonder what it will be next year? My Smoke & Mirror Orioles. Boy was I wrong cause I thought they'd struggle to reach last year's win total. And I still can't figure this out so I've quit trying.
