I thought he turned  corner after he came back in his last start, but this crap just tells me he needs to be back in AAA working on his command. 

Can't keep putting his team in a hole because he can't command his pitches early on. 

He can't control his emotions either and fielding his position is clearly not something he's good at.

If we're competing we cant keep running out a guy with 6+ ERA.

No, Irvin has not thrown well in AAA. Voth may be the guy you give those starts to until Means is ready of Irvin gets his command together.

Irvin starts tonight. He could use a good outing at AAA.
