I think Elias thinks Mateo is like a found silver dollar on the ground....and he really is excited to find it for free.  He is going to give Mateo every possible chance in the world.   

I think he is going to have to go back to hitting only about .200 again to cut his playing time.

I have a feeling the answer to that question is the same as the answer to the question ‘how soon is Urias back?’  But that also requires Ortiz to hit. If he’s not hitting any better than Mateo then Jorge will get more time.
