Bemboom went on IL for concussion protocol 2ish weeks ago.  He did a couple rehab assignment games at Aberdeen and came back to Norfolk for the double header on Saturday

He's one of the few guys I'm willing to speculate there might not be room for in Baltimore, but hopefully he can showcase his hitting ability in Norfolk. Other teams will surely be interested if he can keep hitting like this at AAA.

The question with Prieto is where does he fit best defensively? Second base makes the most sense but he'll be an average at best defensive 2B. The arm is lacking anywhere else for me though he could fill in at 3B and SS. 

The bat doesn't have a ton of home run pop, but he doesn't strike out. Kind of reminds me of a younger Adam Frazier.

This seems to be a “ride the hot hand” moment with Charles. Wow, would he be a huge addition to the big club, even if he can just hold it together for a few months.

The guy he reminds me of is Hanser Alberto, back in his good year with the Orioles (.305/.329/.422).   Alberto was adequate defensively, but that’s about all.

I'm praying to the baseball gods that he keeps it together and is able to be that 6th or 7th inning arm we desperately need.

He was nice draft story during his good initial good year in Aberdeen (NY-Penn League). He was not going to stay at 3B, and just didn't have the speed or power to move to a corner outfield position. Add in his inability to stay healthy and his age, it just was time. 

He seems like a guy who could try and catch on with an independent league or another org that needs some depth, but he may just choose to head to his next stage of his life.

Seems like with the Reds coming in with Ely this week, Monday would be a good day for the O's to bring up their own young stars.  Be one way to inject some energy after a couple weeks of scuffling a bit.
