It's really sad that we needed an infield hit, an IBB, and an HBP to score our 3rd run in three games and salvage a win to avoid a sweep.  The offense needs to wake up.

Our bullpen gave us four spectacular innings.
We scored 2 runs of their best reliever.

If you are trying to imply we didn't earn the win, I don't agree.

My goodness. They were on the doorstep of getting swept and had the fortitude to make something out of nothing and then defend the lead. That's a very encouraging long-term sign in my eyes as to this team's attitude.

The offense is and has been in a holding pattern until the rest of the prospects come up. It will be very good in time.

In any sport when you play good “defense” you are always in the game. Always tried to preach that to kids when I coached. We pitched real well last 2 days.

Good pitching and a terrible ump can do that to you.  Yesterday it was great pitching.
