Not really one pitch, three high fastballs in a row in almost the same place. First two fouled away, and the third one gets hammered. I'm sure there's a lesson to be learned here.

Don't train the batter how to hit you high fastball.   Adley should have never allowed that pitch three times in a row.

A breaking ball would have got us out of that inning.

Actually looking at that replay it looks like Adley wants it up and in. He has to move the glove from the inside half to the outside corner that Baker had been repeatedly hitting. I didn't notice this during the game.

Sure, unless you hang it or leave it middle/middle.    A perfect one probably would have worked although he couldn’t get the LH Heyward to chase one.

Or, 1 missed catch changed the game.  Mullins would have caught that "triple" and we get out of that inning before the bases even get juiced.
