Sure it doesn’t..but when teams are valuing you, there is something there. It just doesn’t mean you are a difference maker.

I was told he had no value, that Mateo is better, no one would want him and he could be out of baseball soon.

And it’s gotten to the point of absurdity with them and SP. Just in the last 18ish months, they’ve signed Jon Gray, Jacob DeGrom, Nate Eovaldi, and Andrew Heaney to FA deals; given Martin Perez a qualifying offer; and now traded for Max Scherzer and Jordan Montgomery. That’s seven major expenditures for SPs, and yet somehow Dane Dunning is still the best guy they have going at the moment

I dont think I would like to play poker with Elias.   I dont know what he is going to do.  Unlike Duquette.  Duquette was kind of an open book.
