I was typing my Mays tidbit when you posted yours. 

@Roy Firestone, I was just thinking of the similar number of AB of Holliday and Mays at this stage in Jackson's first four or so games. Mays did go 0-12 after that HR off of Spahn and Durocher moved him from 3rd in the lineup to 8th. 

So we were both on the right track. In my original post above, I remember that bit of info as I researched a paper on Mays in 3rd grade as my "most unforgettable character".

Yeah but by the time the poster typed up 100 copies of the letter, bought stamps, and mailed them to all his social media friends, and the postman delivered them, Mays was on a hot streak.
