I mean he can’t be a guess hitter and succeed as much and as quickly as he did in the minors right? He was certainly guessing there tho, no doubt about it.

Well, the TV strike zone is not the real zone. So actually, the umpire was apparently right.

For those of you counting at home, that's THREE RBIs directly stolen from O's hitters this year by umpires on blown bases-loaded ball 4 calls. 

We're in our 21st game of the year.  So once every seven games on average, when it feels like normally I see it once every other season.

This is the worst debut from a super hyped prospect since Jared Kelenic. Hopefully it doesn’t end similarly. He looks so in his head right now.

1) Robot umps now!

2) Holiday is only damaging the team and his confidence. It's just not his time yet, send him down. It's the rare 20-year old who can play in the big leagues.

I've supported letting him get adjusted to the majors but at it looks like he's reaching the point he needs some more seasoning.  Not really even having a lot of productive at bats.

I'm not sure if anyone teaches "choke up, cut down on your swing and try to put it in to play" on a 3-2 count anymore. Doesn't seem like it.

They do, but then the kids outgrew little league and start playing travel ball.

I guess statcast has more credibility.
