Knowing nothing, I'm presuming this isn't major. He finished his start and did fine. No decrease in velo.

This is why all the talk about who's going for Means/Bradish was unnecessary.  Also why we have 7-8 decent starters.  Still might not be enough!

Have to assume it’s load management more than anything. I’m looking for clues like - we hope he’s back at the end of the 15 day period.

That's a good point and hopefully all this is. They need Grayson to be strong in September and October and may just look at this as a perfect opportunity to shut him down for a bit without losing a pitcher due to DFA. I didn't see anything in Grayson's last start to suggest he was hurt, so maybe a little soreness, which probably every pitcher feels after starts, is a good reason to be able to load manage him for the year. 

Saying that, he did throw a 163.1 innings last year between Baltimore and Norfolk and was very strong last year into October, where he was too hyped up (sitting 100 MPH) vs worn down.

Any IL stint with “shoulder” is bad news, but hoping deeming it “inflammation” means it’s minor (as far as shoulder injuries go). 

Ideally this is overly precautionary, given Grayson’s big workload last year and that we want to make sure he’s healthy for the rest of the season. 

You simply can never have enough pitching.

I do wonder if that has something to do with his fastball command, everything was tailing arm side the past few starts with no command. I hope it's nothing serious.

Hindsight.  Is it unnecessary to speculate who goes when Bradish is reinstated?   How about when Perez came back?  Should we not speculate and just wait until the moves are made?   That’s like saying don’t guess the lineup, it will be listed in 3 hours.
