Brewers did not want to pay Vieira the 500K left on his contract is my guess.    O's assume that cost  while buying Rodriguez.    The O's have seen enough of Stalling to know he was not going to help them in the majors.     JMO

O's are likely to DFA  Vieira and see if he will accept an assignment to AAA.

He throws really hard. A lot of posters have been screaming that we need a 100MPH strikeout guy in the pen. The only way we're getting one at this point in the year is to try to fix one with a bunch of warts. I guess that's what this is.

With a little work, Vieira could be the next Heasley.  Can we just call him Vee.  His name is too much work until he proves himself worthy of the effort of spelling it correctly.
