He has consistently - and I mean since Frederick Keys days - been really inaccurate throwing to 2B. I used to think it was me, at the time, bc it was one of the things people raved about as a strength and I never saw it.

He has tended to throw to the SS side of the bag. Recently I’ve seen him perhaps overcompensate to fix that.

My take anyway.

All I know is he used to be a pitcher at one point in his life but his arm strength wasn't good enough as he got into older age groups so he switched to Catcher and First Basemen.
