I wish they had done this for Memorial Stadium, ie. save the structure to covert to apartments

Hindsight is 20/20. I do find value in the youth sports field currently there as a tangential reminder of the history, but this is what had been considered at one point, I think. This is in Indianapolis.

I went to a few games there in the early 90’s.  I drove by there a couple of months ago for the first time in years and was blown away.   From the road beyond the old outfield wall it looks just like a ballpark.  Really cool!
