That doesn't change the fact that he should have given up 2 runs. He's walked plenty before and gotten through it, it's not new. You can't expect your number 9 starter to be an ace.

That was almost a disaster there but Santander recovers to make the catch.  Could have been far worse than 1 run that inning.

Yep, the pitching staff has been brutal. Elias needs to acquire more relievers and another starter. If he knew how to draft and develop pitching maybe he'd have some in his system to go to.

Team ERA+ is all the way down to 100 after peaking around 116.  After this game they will be below average.
