I think that hustle and slide is the influence that Odor had on him late in 2022 in the Blue Jays series. Odor had a swim move improbable double, and another play where he hustled out a single. I remember being at one game seeing Gunnar standing by with a bat, like he was taking it all in of what just happened and how he could get it done too.
