Interesting reading Braves fan thoughts about Seitzer were the same issues O’s had, lack of situational hitting and complete ineptness with RISP.

Seitzer said it was his most frustrating season he’s had and said he couldn’t get the hitters to stop pressing. Sounds familiar.

not sure if he’s the right fit, though I think a coach with real Major League experience is an asset.

It's about as well thought out as anything else around here lately.

If he were sitting in the dugout next season, and the team lost 2 games 3-2 in one week, half the board would be calling for Britton's head.

It plays into the fantasy of having a manager who came up through the system and managed all this exceptional young talent in the minors. It’s another circle jerk of filling out a lineup card 1-9 of homegrown prospects with a homegrown manager, as if that’s some sort of victory that matters.

And btw, I shouldn’t have just said “on here”. I see Britton love everywhere.
