Yep.....got the feeling that something is going on with this ump crew. Two of the three called strikes to Nick were off the plate and low. Even the announcers said so.

Having mlb extra innings, and living in NY, the game isn't available in my area...but if the umpiring is the same as last night, that might not be a bad thing since I want to keep my good mood today!

Was just thinking the same thing. It's a joke that Nick doesnt get the benefit of the doubt more often. The past few years when he would go down looking, I kept thinking it would pay off- because eventually his reputation would get him to the point of getting those calls. Nope, guess you gotta be on a contender first.

On another note, I was watching an inning or two of the Yankees-Mariners game today- and the Yankees were getting every close call at the plate- while the Mariners were constantly getting called out on horrible strike calls. It was laughable.
