Link fails. But if it is the "letter to his teammates" that was linked from some Red Sox site... I think it is not real. Just something someone made up about what they thought AJP would say.

Some people are pretty slow on the uptake when it comes to satire. I loved the part about Pierzynski being incapable of growing a beard "due to an injury during a summer camp visit to a candy factory, when my pores were sealed with caramel."
