    • I did and was just about to post the same question.  Seemed like it went away after the 5th inning, so maybe a split nail that he could take care of in between innings?
    • Pretty sure KB said so.
    • I was thinking of watching some of the Nats feed anyway, just to get their perspective on the O’s.   This Nats team is plucky, a little like the 2022 O’s in the early going.   They can’t hit much but their pitching isn’t bad.  I don’t take this series for granted at all, though we’re the better team.    Anyone going?  I’m thinking about getting some last minute tickets to the Wednesday game.
    • I think Kopech is an interesting target but you say our guys know how to develop pitchers and I think of Baumann and Fuji.   Our guys just can’t take any hard thrower and turn them into command central.
    • This is something to consider if Grayson struggles as a starter--he's having trouble throwing 3 pitches effectively, or he's not pitch efficient enough to get through more than 5 innings consistently, or hitters are teeing off on him the 2nd or 3rd time through the order.  He does have the high end fastball velocity to be a high end closer.  But if he can be a top-three starter that's more valuable, even in the short run.   I definitely agree that Wells and Suarez should be high-leverage late inning relievers this season.
