In the early going, O’s excelling with RISP once again

There was a lot of talk over the winter, including from me, about how the O’s run production might go down if their hitting with runners in scoring position normalized and was similar to their overall hitting.  

So far, nothing doing.  The O’s are at .298/.340/.511 with RISP.  Hoping it continues.

Well, we’re only 1-2 in one run games which is why our record is ………………  NEVER MIND.

Pretty surprised by this. It hasn’t felt like it. Especially yesterday.

Going into today Orioles were last in AL in BB with 53 Yankees have 100, 47 more!!!

 

Hard to believe Orioles can keep offense this well with that BB rate but except for one little stretch doesn’t feel like they are just up there hacking.

I wonder if they'd trade those walks for the 22 more runs we've scored than them.
