No, that never happened.  I do think he went more than a month without a walk one time.

I definitely remember a time where he went such a long time without walking and the media asked him about it and he got a little testy, then went out and walked two or three times in a game or something as if to prove a point.

Jones went 43 games without a walk from May 19 to July 3, 2013.    I think that’s his longest stretch, but I’m still looking.

Yeah, that’s his longest.    Schoop’s  longest was 33 games.

A reporter should ask him about his lack of walks today. Please.

Two walks in the first half, seven in the second half.

(He only played 15 games in the first half)

BTW, that wasn't meant as I gotcha moment.

I'm sure I didn't randomly guess Schoop had a two walk half.  I'm sure I heard it someone, without proper context.  That is probably what happened with Moose.

I seem to recall AJ starting other seasons like this, being more patient and hitting the ball the other way... and then stopping.  It would be awesome if he can continue with this approach.

Oh, look.  The usual good week... and then pull everything possible.  :(

But what Moose thought was that Jones had gotten to the ASB without any walks.     That’s what I thought you were saying Schoop might have done.

Right, right, been multi-tasking too much today and not paying proper attention.

It's actually quite embarrassing that his walk rate has gone down so much and it's going to hurt his chances of landing a decent contract this offseason from someone. His lack of performance is hurting the Orioles two fold. The team stinks offensively and his trade value is very low currently.

Adam can’t be traded without his consent anyway.

His walk rate is low, but it’s only 23 games.    He’s probably had many streaks in his career where he walked 2 times or less in that number of games.    Hopefully he’ll get into a stretch where he’s being more selective.

Edit: For example, last year, he had a stretch of 26 games where he only walked twice in 113 PA.
