We've been able to keep most of our opposing teams' "big hitters" from burning us very much this season. Pujols? I don't even think he got a HIT against us, and certainly not a home run. Ditto for Jose Bautista -- I recall him getting, like, a single or a double. Cespedes didn't do much yesterday and he didn't get a hit in the first inning.

What a delight it was to hear Frank. I've never heard him be as soft as he was today (but still with an edge, like when he sd Dempsey's home runs were all foul balls :laughlol:). Wish I was there! Stuck down here in Miami.

And Dempsey on the pregame bragging that he threw out Frank stealing to end a game in Cleveland.

Way too many pitches for Chen in the first. The way his stuff has been degrading after 90 pitches this is looking like a 5 inning start.

He didn't have jack that first inning, but his head is good. He's a smart young pitcher. Knows how to minimize damage and keep them in the game.
