Floater
Idc how bad the calls were, no excuse to not swing at anything close on that at bat.

clapdiddy
Agree about the plate. Apparently, there's an extra 4 or 5 inches on the outside corner...get the swingin' shoes on.

SrMeowMeow
Idc how bad the calls were, no excuse to not swing at anything close on that at bat. This is just wrong. You can't have any success if you just assume anything close is gonna be a strike. Pearce did well and got hosed. Even the Mets announcers admitted that the 3-1 pitch was ball four. The overhead cam showed it practically in the other batter's box.
Baltoravensrule
Strike 3 was no picnic either. Past two nights. Some of the worst umpiring I've EVER seen. Very one sided as well.
Jagwar
Idc how bad the calls were, no excuse to not swing at anything close on that at bat. Pearce walked twice in that AB, once on a ball 8 inches outside, the other outside and below the knees.

I'm swinging.
