Should the Orioles trade some of their pitching this off season?

The O's used 12 starters last year do to injuries and non performance. There is no way to say they will not need that many again. Trading the young starters is really not an option unless the O's get starting pitching in return.

Good point. But, wouldn't you rather have Trumbo over Reynolds? This gives you the flexibility to play both guys as RF/1B/DH.

Trumbo vs. Reynolds is basically a wash for me too. Trumbo and Reynolds give you similar overall production with Trumbo having a higher batting average, but Reynolds having a higher OBP and similar slugging. I wouldn't trade anything for Trumbo because we already essentially have two of him and all it costs for Reynolds is just money.

Personally would prefer Kendry Morales. The cost would be less, and he is a better bat. imo

I'd prefer bringing back Reynolds for 2 years with an option. The Angels are going to want something good for Morales, plus he's a FA in 2014, and a Boras guy,

Certainly not against bringing Reynolds back. However when I look at areas where it would be nice to upgrade, 1ST base comes to mind. It is nice to have options for a change.
