Before everyone completely jumps on Tommy's case, remember he had an extra long layover with the rain delay. I personally wouldn't have sent him back out. I thought he looked pretty sharp in the first inning.

Poor decision by Jones. Should have thrown to second and kept Bautista at first. It would have taken a hell of a throw to get Reyes at home. In other news, Buck has thrown in the towel....Stinson's in.

It is ridiculous that this team can't win 60% of their games at home. It's a hitters ballpark, and we allegedly have a strong offense, so why the heck doesn't that show up at home?

You got that part right. Some falls on the guy sending him back out there and some falls on his defense not making a play on a ball that was very easy.

Agreed. Buck did that to Miguel earlier this year. I can sort of understand it with a starting pitcher but makes no sense with a reliever. Tommy is not used to multiple innings, let alone with a rain delay.

I think Tommy should've made the play.

The ball was hit hard to Hunter and he deflected it which slowed it down for Schoop.

If Hunter should have made the play then Schoop definitely should have been able to handle it.
