Season on line and that's the best you can do?

In the ALCS for the first time since.....count the years.

Every ball is bouncing the way of the Royals. It is not over but I will be happy with a few more games let alone us coming all the way back.

Let's go O's! I just typed that on October 14th. I have never type that on October 14th before. Perspective!

Too many holes in the lineup. We had a catcher hitting .087 who cannot throw runners out. Makes you want Teagarden back. We have a 2nd baseman who is an okay fielder, but has hit .200 most of they year, and is not a threat on the bases. Flaherty is what he is...a bench utility guy. How many balls did De Aza handle in the field tonight? Surely we could have gotten by with Young in the outfield.

I just don't know how you can go 0-3 in a postseason without using Delmon Young in two of the games?

Poor managing by Buck....Schoop has done nothing, Pearce almost nothing, Go's with KG (who pitched well) when the Os needed a DP instead of O'Day. Young who was hot in the ALDS hasn't seen an AB in 3 games. How does he not bat in place of Pearce?

To add on Adam Jones ...two straight easy outs on 1st pitches in the late innings.

The free swinger thing has worked against them in this series. Moist skis has upped his pitches per innings ...our guys make it look easy for the other

All of the swings at shin high pitches...poor execution. They could've/should've got more off Guthrie. He got away with a ton of mistakes.

Wouldn't expect anything less from Adam Jones. You don't win in the postseason with a choker like Jones as your leader. Just pathetic showing from him in his playoff career. No excuses, he has needed to play better and has crapped the bed. No question he has all the heart in the world but the guy is his own worst enemy.

Royals have to be the luckiest team in history. And the douchiest. This series still isn't over. The Royals are mediocre. And they've won like 9 straight games. They're gonna lose eventually, and probably 2 or 3 in a row. Get this series back to Baltimore and all bets are off.

All things equal, the O's have a 1/16 chance of making the WS.

Well, I've pretty much reached the 5th stage here.

It was a good season and I'm proud of our guys. If somehow we can pull out some Joe Flacco Mile High Miracle (stuff) here, that would be the thing of legends and we'll be talking about it forever and ever.

If not, well, we're not the 1998-2011 Orioles anymore and that's something to be glad about.

I also question going to Gausman with runners on the corners, one out. There's no margin for error. You need Miller for the K or O'Day for the DP.

The bats lost this game.

Suppose Buck will start Delmon tomorrow?

Too late Buck, go back to sleep

Yost takes Guthrie after 5 and turns it over to his shutdown bullpen.

Buck inexplicably tries to get Chen thru the 6th

That lost the game

Yost has schooled Buck all series.

Harsh, but I don't disagree.

Probably would've played Cruz in left ...but I agree. This series is over folks.
