Nick was not good enough to bat anywhere other than first or last.

WTF? In a lineup with Caleb Joseph/Nick Hundley, Jonathan Schoop/Ryan Flaherty, the 2014 version of JJ Hardy, and sometimes David Lough in LF, there were plenty of other places to bat Nick. Pretty much anywhere other than 3/4/5, and frankly even 3 would have been reasonable considering the year Davis had.

Two is more important then three.

And Lough isn't good enough to bat above 9th, imo. Duquette isn't going in the Lough direction. He's a heck of a lot smarter than that.

He's perfect for his role as 4th OF with a good glove. He won't be batting anywhere but the bottom of the lineup. 96 OPS+ at the bottom of the lineup ain't bad by the way.
