Yes. Many people that just look at the stats don't see that. His velocity has been fine.

Yeah, Gary mentioned his conversation with Wallace who said Hunter had only given up the one hard hit basehit. He failed to mention that the hits, flukey or otherwise, were mixed in with some walks and a GS. I remember that being hit rather hard as it left the yard.

He's had some bad luck but he hasn't helped himself either. Today he was much better.

If you can't trust a reliever with a 5 run lead then you can't afford to keep him on your roster.

Might want him facing bottom of order in 9th, with a safety net ready. 5 run lead in Fenway isn't like facing the Rays at the Trop.

How is today an exception? Is this the first game you've seen this year? He's batting .457 with 5 HRs.

This is the second time this year I've seen Adam get a hit with RISP. I've seen him hit all of his solo shots during the homestand, and a few extra-base hits. But until this point I hadn't seen him do much in RBI situations.
