Worst fans that visit Camden Yards

Quite frankly, the worse fans I've seen in in Baltimore were Baltimore fans. When fans boo players on their own team during Opening Day introductions, they should have little to say about other team's fans. I have been treated well in many parks wearing Oriole garb including Fenway and Yankee Stadium. I've also seen the majority of Bosox and Yankee fans getting along and having fun at Camden. Every city has their jerks.

When did O's fans boo their own players during Opening Day introductions? And who were (was?) the player(s) involved? I was at Opening Day this year (2015) and I don't remember any of our players being booed by O's fans during introductions. Just curious.

Yeah, my wife and I have been to opening day every year since 2010 and I have never heard the boo birds for our team.

Not saying they didn't happen but I dang sure don't remember it.

But the worst fan experience I had was between two drunken O's fans. I actually had to go get security.

Mike Gonzalez, I guess 2010..he had blown a save (or two??) in the Tampa, before they came North.

Did they boo Kevin Gregg?

My post was tongue in cheek. Most fans from other teams i have met at the games are real nice. They sometimes ask what to see in the city and where to eat. Most say good things about the fans and the stadium.

I was at a game with the Phillies. The Philly fans all got tossed in the first inning. They were cursing and acting like idiots. The cops came down and escorted about 20 of them out. I have never seen that ,especially it was the first inning.

Instead of half inning beer runs ,perhaps after every strike.

That's Philly for yah. It truly is the white trash capital of the East Coast.

If it was the 2014 opening day, could the boo's have actually been a Cruuuuuuuz?

Actually, the only time it happened was when Aubrey Huff had gotten drunk, gone on a radio show, and called Baltimore a "Horsecrap" town. They gave it to him a time or two and then all was forgiven. Gregg and Ubaldo both got boos later in the year. But only a smattering.

Yankees fans are THE worst. They flood Eutaw street wearing their colors and do that stupid clap when chanting the players names. It was always Der-ek-Jee-ter clap. clap. clapclap. clap. They used to be able to take over a section in the stands buying big blocks of seats.

And that's on Orioles fans for letting it happen. Or worse yet, Orioles fans who sell their tickets to Yankees fans.
