Just got back from FanFest, watched the first 4 panels. Some thoughts...

- Way, way less crowded than last 2 years. Lot of reasons for that.

- Dan didn't seem very optimistic about Davis.

- Upton was kind of pooh-poohed by Buck, and Dan brushed it off.

- Left hand outfield (1 or 2) and another starter seem to be priority.

- Donation bucket thing started as a joke but was pushed too far. Cheap tickets don't fill stadiums.

- Quote of day went to Buck. When talking about Twitter, he asked if it was "tweeted or twat?" Thorne about doubled over!

Brady is an intelligent guy and obviously knows the Orioles tried to sign Davis and Wieters. Does he mean the Orioles should be willing to pay more of a premium when they try to extend their own players while still under team control?

It might have been during the season, or the season before about $50 mil less when he hit .196.

I don't think Davis would have been willing to discuss an extension after the 2014 season.

He knew his value had plummeted.

Seemed to be alot less fans.Enthusiasm way down. Clubhouse tour was nice.Dan always says at the winter meetings that the Orioles are close to trading or signing a player and it never seems to happen.

Donation bucket comment is kind of insulting honestly. The money is there, shut up and get something done. People donate with ticket purchases.

I guess Upton being a backup option to Davis was bs? Looking forward to a 2016 outfield of Jones, Rajai Davis and Alex Rios. Maybe we could try to land Jeff Francoeur as the DH.
