B. I think Alvarez would eat Fenway, that abomination we call Yankee stadium and OPACY up. Wouldn't like Upton in right, might go for someone like Urrutia or put Davis out there and have Trumbo at first.

Reimold or some other in house solution. If we sign Davis,, no Alvarez and no big RF bat. Also no Mid rotation type like Kazmir, Leake, Gallardo, or Chen with either choice. If you want one of these SP then forget both Davis or Upton and probably Alvarez.

That's not the question.

I think both choices are bad. The monetary commitment required to get either Davis or Upton will almost certainly prevent us from improving the rotation. I'd rather pick up a guy who can play defense and has speed than to spend $150 million on a slugger.
