Watching him shut us down in OPACY twice in the first two weeks made me think so too. The guy was throwing high 70's, low 80's. smh. The death knell for O's hitters. A banged up Alfredo Simon did the same thing on trade deadline day last season too. Really frustrating to watch live.

I'd want them to do a lot of due diligence on this as check out his stats for the last 10 games of the year. He had a 5.15 ERA and 1.50 WHIP. I don't want those numbers.

I've long had a theory about athletes, baseball players in particular. There's either a graceful decline or they hit a wall. Buehrle has been good for awhile, a long while. He strikes me as the type that'll wake up one day and just be ineffective.
