What the heck is going through his head exactly? It is not like a bonehead play that happens in the midst of reacting to some action. He is sitting on second and decides he sees opening that is big enough to take the relatively rare act of trying to steal third.

I think Dad (Buck) needs to take the keys away (no running on his own) from him for awhile to curb those 3rd base joyrides.
