Yes, Quiroz seems to be having a little eject-o-mitt action going on right now. Even with bases empty that inning he had a few pop out of his glove.

It was a cross up, and should have been caught by Quiroz without a doubt.

So far I'm enjoying this outing by Cabrera. He's obviously struggling with the weather a bit, but mentally he seems to be really focused. After giving up those walks and then that passed ball he jumped right back into it.

Mentally this year he is without a doubt light years ahead of where he has ever been in his career, and the results are starting to reflect this.

This is probably get away day for the umpires as well. After the 2 hour rain delay its suprising to me that the ump is calling it a little tight. Glad hes doing the right thing...

Cabrera needs to mix it up a little (which may go against the all fastball philosophy) but the Sox are starting to sit on that first pitch fastball for a strike.
