Ticket Revenue Should Increase This Year

Doesn't account for a decrease in concession sales obviously.

But looking at average ticket prices for last year vs this year.

We went from about $25 to $30.

We had 2.32M fans last year at OPACY; we are on pace for 2.17M fans this year. The actual number may get higher with a pennant race of course.

Doing the simple math, we brought in almost $58M in ticket revenue last year, and we are on pace for about $65M this year with the increased prices.

So I guess the price increase paid off?

So I guess the decrease in attendance isn't all doom and gloom........obviously it'd be nice to have more people there though.

I remember in 2012 they offered outfield seats at 1992 prices in September. I was at a Tampa game and all the outfield seats were filled. Perhaps they will do something like that for weekday games.

I wouldn't hold you breath. The dynamic ticket pricing is the thing that's hurting attendance IMO. I'll go tomorrow night for 15% cheaper than tonight. I'd rather go to two Monday night games vs teams like TB/OAK than one Saturday vs the Yankees.
