It is, but that is somewhat misleading.

The teams have only been playing each other 18-19 times per season since 2001.

The Blue Jays have been in existence since 1977.

The Orioles went 11-2 in back-to-back seasons against the Blue Jays in 1979 and 1980, and went 10-3 against them in 1982. Plus, they went 10-5 against them in their inaugural season of 1977.

Yeah, but the only one of those that I remember is the one they lost 24-10 when Larry Harlow and Elrod Hendricks pitched.

I had just learned how to keep score of a baseball game so I made a scoresheet with a ruler and a piece of paper and chose that game to try it with.

That was not unusual for those feisty 1977 Blue Jays.

I remember one day that year when me and my friends (including my brother Mark, a Yankee fan) were sitting and listening to the radio in our friend's back yard. The sports update informed us all that the Blue Jays defeated the Yankees by a score of 19-3, and that Roy Howell hit 2 HR's, 2 Doubles, 1 Single, and had 9 RBI's in 6 Plate Appearances

That was the worst Yankees loss in a home game in more than 50 years, since the 1920's.
