Not really a Big deal if he comes back healthy.  We have off like 3 times in the first 10 days.  We won't need a 5th starter until 10th game on April 15th.

No biggie unless another pitcher goes down..and another...DD is usually good with depth but our SP depth currently concerns me "hugely".

And thus the idea that we had "six" starters for five starting slots was absurd from the get go.    Now we have 4 and spring training has just opened and we are already looking to the Ynoas, Wrights, Wilsons of the universe.  Not good.

Many players want to go this PRP injection route/rest/rehab first and many of them then find it doesn't work out as well as they hoped.

Sign Jorge de la Rosa ASAP!  No, he's not good, but he's a guy you can use as a starter if this thing drags on.  Which it probably will, knowing our luck.

yeah, not clear from this thread when did he have/will have injection

when did the feel like something was wrong

Why wasn't this treated months ago

The Carinals are not loosing their ACE they are losing a young pitcher but they have about 6 others.  He was only in competition for the 5th spot with Wacca and they have Weaver almost ready.
