Stretch Brach to a starter

Palmer has often said he thought Brach had the stuff to be a starter.  Why not stretch him out and have him get a bunch of starts before year end?

That was Jim Johnson. Also, Brach will be with someone else.

Correct me if im wrong ...but I was under the impression that the only pitches that are MLB quality or better are his FB and Bordick's Turbo change.

He has said same for Brach.

Brach was not even a starter in the minors.     I'd be fine conducting an experiment, but I doubt it would be successful.

I think his delivery would lead to injury over 200 innings. You don't see many starters with that herky jerky type of action.

This! There is a reason he's been a reliever all this time. Yes, this is an extreme SSS, but he's only faced three batters past 50 pitches and walked all three. Now could he be a 2 or 3 inning guy, perhaps but then you lose the ability use him often in high leverage situations. Brach's best role is in high leverage situations before the 9th inning.

option a) showcase Brach as a reliever and trade him for something useful before his arbitration salary skyrockets

option b) stretch Brach as a starter so he fails to contribute and probably injures himself
