Where do they start?

Do you think anyone from the 2008 draft will play for one of the full season teams this summer?

Assuming they sign in time, Brian Matusz will and I guess Greg Miclat has a shot, but I wonder where both of those players will start out.

But didn't Arrieta sign too late in the summer to get any playing time? Matusz is expected to sign early enough to play this summer. If Matusz actually gets some innings with a club this summer, that puts him in a different boat than Arrieta. The main reason Arrieta went to the AFL was to get him a taste of professional ball. If Matusz plays this summer, he'll already have that. It could also result in him starting next year at a higher level.
