Hopefully @gamilielcan elaborate, but if Fredi was an old school guy it might have been a natural reaction to Hyde often implementing SIGBOT's suggestions. I thought the Orioles did a good job in their very short stay managing the pitchers, understanding stuff like... Tier 1 = Corbin Burnes Tier 2 = fresh, somewhat talented pitchers from your arm barn Tier 3 = Zach Eflin If the team is having any kind of crisis of confidence in its strategies, they might value all the staff staying on brand in comportment, even if they disagree. -

Did you hear him say that yourself? If so, was it audible on the TV broadcast or were you reading lips and that’s what it looked like he said? You can’t make that claim without having actual proof to support it. -

They should refund the tickets for the games that *were* played given the quality of the product.

I just checked my Discover card balance for unrelated reasons, and I noticed that the refunds for my ALDS and ALCS tickets show up as "pending". Which means the Orioles have initiated the process of crediting me with the money, but it has not yet been applied to my balance by Discover. I am a Flex plan member who bought 4 tickets to a wild card game (which I attended), 4 tickets to an ALDS game, and 4 tickets to an ALCS game, the max that I was allowed to buy. And the amounts shown as pending are the full amounts I was initially charged, all fees included, so I am getting a complete refund to the penny. -
I absolutely would love to lose like in 1979 right now compared to being totally and utterly embarrassed and disgraced by getting swept out of the playoffs by two wild card teams. The only way for this core group to remove the stain of these sweeps, particularly this one against KC is to win the World Series. If they don't, they will be the Blue Jays 2.0.
