That's a good question. I have no idea if Duquette wants to sigh Cobb, but I'm not sure that what he wants regarding player acquisition matters anymore.

Do you think Cobb would sign with the Orioles if any other team offered him anything?

Duquette has been quoted several times recently as saying that the O's could be contenders if they signed the starting pitching he wants. If he was referring to Cobb, then he wants to sign him.

Poor Dan.  I've been critical but I do think he's wanted to make moves that would have helped and he just isn't allowed.

What I find mysterious is there has been nothing from the major writers on Cobb for  weeks. Like complete media silence on him.
