He works in the low to mid 90s with what appears to be a high spin FB that guys have trouble putting the barrel on even when it’s in the middle of the plate. He has a slider that flashes plus, but isn’t on that level consistently yet. He also has a curve and a changeup. He’s got a relatively low effort delivery and if he sticks as a starter, he could be a workhorse type. Some prefer him as a reliever, I see that, his long arm action limits his command (he’s around the plate but doesn’t hit spots) and his 3rd/4th pitches aren’t there yet. He definitely should stay starting for a while and make that decision a year or two down the road.

Upside of a #3 starter, floor of a AAA depth piece.
