I was going to say maybe the greatest Oriole to wear #88 but realized that's not true.

There's been a bug (bronchial) going around.   Buck had it.   Valencia had it and was sent back to the hotel yesterday.   So Manny could have that.

Manny is in a bit of a slump (4/25).   He is 2/12 career vs Wright.

Although Buck's MO is usually to rest a guy when they have an off day the next day sot he player can get two days off in a row.   A Wednesday day off would fit his typical pattern much more -- it's a day game after a night game and we have the day off Thursday.   But I guess he feels he needs Manny vs Sale Wednesday.
