Right now, I don’t either.    The pre-deadline team was underperforming its Pythag by a large amount and generally underperforming its talent level.   The post-deadline team was actually just about as bad as its record.    We have made only marginal improvements to that team, if any, at least so far.    So, a 13-game improvement seems unlikely to me.    I do think there will be some upgrades made in the next two weeks, and it’s possible that the new management will eke some improvement out of the players we already have.  Put me down for 55 wins with the present roster, subject to revision if we make some additions.
