oriole
My guess is this means Núñez will at least start the year on the team. He will probably be DFA’d at some point though.

But if you read the whole thing, it says "There are three more changes that will take place starting in the 2020 season," before mentioning the "10 back to 15 day IL" stint. Yep. Good catch. I thought the 15 day change didn't take place until next year You are right about IL. And Eddie is right, he could come back April 1.

dabirds
I believe they are changing it back to 15 days only for pichers next year. Also applies to minor league options. Batters will remain at 10 days for both.
Natty
We might need Peterson to pitch again at some point.

HowAboutThat
So what does this mean about the roster? If Trump is on the disabled list, that should move Mancini to DH, but more should move Mancini to a DH/1st base platoon with Davis, and open up LF for a genuine OF? Smith? Or would he keep Núñez as dedicated DH? Which would be a waste of a spot

Davis can’t hit anymore but if thy insist on keeping him, he and Mancini can easily handle DH/IB duties and save the roster spot.
Legend_Of_Joey
Sounds like 60 day IL material to me.
OsFanSinceThe80s
Unless Trumbo goes nuts when he comes back there is going to zero trade market for him. Not that there was much of a trade market to begin with.
