How does that work?    My tickets tomorrow are good for both games?   And people with tickets for today can trade them in for tomorrow or another day, I guess?

Rainouts

In the event that a game is officially postponed due to rain, tickets for that game will be considered rain checks. Rainout policies vary based on the situation. A policy will be announced after the game is officially postponed. Any game suspended after five innings (or 4 ½ innings if the Orioles are ahead) is considered a complete game. Suspended game tickets cannot be exchanged. Complimentary ($0.00 value) tickets are not exchangeable.

This link has the details.

https://www.mlb.com/news/twins-orioles-april-19-game-postponed

Fans holding tickets for the originally scheduled 7:05 p.m. game on Saturday, April 20, should use those tickets for both games of the doubleheader. The first 20,000 fans, 15 and over, attending Saturday’s games will receive the Orioles tote bag, presented by MLB Network.

Tickets for Friday’s postponed game will not be automatically honored for the April 20 doubleheader. Fans must exchange the value of their tickets from the Friday, April 19, game at the Oriole Park Box Office towards any remaining home game this season, including the April 20 doubleheader, based on availability. All exchanges must be completed by May 31, 2019. Complimentary tickets are non-exchangeable.

Fans who purchased tickets on StubHub for the Friday, April 19, game will need to contact StubHub regarding their policy for postponed events.

That's what I would figure.

    • Assuming we make the playoffs - and Fangraphs assures me it is still 98.8% certain - do we deserve a champagne-and-goggles celebration this year? Feels like instead they should be making a group apology to the fans for making it close.
    • I'm surprised that with the pitching injuries and issues that the Orioles had, we didn't see more guys from Bowie get moved up to Norfolk to atleast check them out. Heid and Roth (who did deal with an injury in July that impacted him for a few weeks) could have gone to Norfolk for the last month. Loon, if he wasn't injured, could be in place to be there next season.
    • Correct.  We'd be way better off if half those guys were in the lineup.   But yeah, let's fire Hyde.
    • At this stage, I don't care how we get in - just get in. As been said on here a zillion times, the playoffs are a crap shoot. As bad as it seems right now - WHY NOT?
    • Oh, I forgot Mountcastle.  He had a 2.2 bWAR season going (1.4 oWAR). And he's effectively been replaced with O'Hearn who is a 1.3 bWAR player (which has been dropping) of which he has a -1.4 dWAR and a 1.8 oWAR. So there's a net negative there, too, going from O'Hearn part time to him FT and losing Mounty's bat. Injuries are a part of any given team, but I don't think it's unfair to say this team would be at 88-89 wins with even half of those guys back.
    • While agree that taking this year's Santander out of the offense would hurt. This is the only year that he has performed at this level. He's OPS is 37 points higher this year, than his avg. His OBP stinks and he goes cold for fairly long periods. He's had a couple of heaters that have padded his OPS. His career OPS+ is 114 and that is buoyed by this years 132. I am not saying he sucks or is even at a replacement level player. But he is a pretty flawed player who is not likely to repeat this year which has been pretty flawed as well. I like Santander and I think he provides valuable leadership. I just don't see him having the value that it will take to keep him. I also don't think he is the type of player that ages well.
    • You really should have to finish in first place to make the playoffs. If the divisions were large from back in the day then I could understand having 2nd place teams make it. It was such an accomplishment back then. We can all agree 3rd place teams making it is a joke.
