We'll probably get steamrolled by the Skanks again but GOD it's good to see some real baseball! First full game I get to see.

Looking forward to Thursday's game too, Home Opener. I'll get home from work just in time to see the whole game, no ceremonies.

Maybe he sits against all pitchers with an 85+ mph fastball. Just play him at batting practice.

Looks like Smith does not have too bad splits. I guess he is an everyday player? I would drop him down though. I think I would rather bump Ruiz than Mullins. Even though RH is his weak side, Mullins is a switch hitter and the best defender (we think) in CF. I would stick with him, with Jackson playing 3B.

Big question for me is Davis vs Nunez.

Happy Davis is sitting but it is because he’s terrible or because of   Paxton?

If Davis is sitting because of poor performance, it’s one step closer to cutting bait with him completely.

Maybe Mullins is best suited as a platoon player but if that’s true, why not bring up Santander or even Stewart. Is Smith really so desirable?

I think he's sitting cause of both.

Hardest thing to stomach is Joey Rickard batting fifth. But I guess that's just old-school wishful thinking about the five hole.
